Keep in mind that these numbers were recorded before Governor DeSantis initiated his reopening plan for the state, and real estate is considered an essential business. We’re still doing business, but the way we’re doing it has changed.
For buyers, we offer virtual walk-throughs of potential homes, and after a process of elimination, we only visit the ones they have an especially high interest in. This reduces unnecessary in-person activity, and becomes particularly important if the properties we visit are owner-occupied. When we look at these properties in person, we fit ourselves and the buyer with disposable gloves and masks, and we use disinfectant on any surface that gets touched. We also leave that disinfectant behind in case the seller wants to wipe anything down when they return.
Honestly, the way we’re conducting business now is a lot more efficient and effective.
Honestly, the way we’re conducting business now is a lot more efficient and effective. If you’re a seller, you’ll have fewer people going through your home, but the ones who do are well-qualified and have already eliminated many other homes from consideration.
