I love to let you guys know how the housing market is performing in the Tampa Bay market. We watch and study the market closely every week to track the absorption rate.

What I'll tell you about the Tampa Bay housing market is the market is heating up. So we were knocking on a 3 to 4-month supply of homes. The recent data from Florida Realtor shows that the Tampa Bay region is at a 1.9-month supply of homes. That will tell you, based on the recent uptick that we've seen this spring, that the housing market will continue on an upward pace, which is favorable to sellers as long as you're priced correctly.

Keep in mind that the feds just hiked the rates for the ninth consecutive time in a row, despite the Silicon Valley collapses and some of the bank issues they're having regarding being over the FDIC insurance limits. I think people will continue to put more dollars into tangible assets like real estate, gold, and silver.
